My dog is dying.

And I don't know how I feel about this. Now I realize the immensity of that timeless question: "Do dogs go to heaven?"

It might sound menial, worrying so much about a dog, but when you spend time with something or someone for more than a third of your life, something forms, an invisible, deeply personal bond.

As someone who believes in heaven and a God, it's relatively easy for me to say goodbye to fellow believers. There's always that hope I can cling to, that no matter what happens I'll see them again sometime in the future, in a better place.

But will I see my dog again? Who knows, only God does.

This is one of those moments in life where I truly need to live by my words and beliefs.

Learn from the past, live in the present, and dream for the future.

God, give me strength.

These days, I see more people turning to God instead of going on a wild rampage during tough times.
It makes me happier.
Cheer up Nathan!
Heaven or doggy heaven, either way I'm sure God will put Pal in a good place.

Hey, you let it out. In the Bible, it does say something like, "God takes care of even the wildflowers and makes them beautiful, will he not take care of you?" God will definitely take care of Pal.
